The website, WalletHub, just recently released a list where they ranked the top 100 largest cities in several categories. In their rankings St. Louis comes in ranked as the 22nd most active city in America. Because of that competitive fire between St. Louis and Chicago (Cardinals vs Cubs, Blues vs Blackhawks), Chicago was ranked 56th. Madison, Wisconsin topped the list in 1st place with Boise, Idaho and Scottsdale, Arizona ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
From eclectic boutiques and signature cuisine to exciting nightlife and live entertainment, each neighborhood has a unique character and style that adds something special to the regional patchwork of our city. Trying to decide what to do in St. Louis on your next visit to the Gateway City? Some are as close as 30 minutes away, while others are as many as four hours (road trip!) But they’re all within driving distance. Bonus: some of these destinations are near one another, so you can get more out of your journey.
